SAGINAW CO. -- An 18 year old Freeland resident is dead after a car crash.

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department reports the incident happened around 9:54 pm Saturday between Dice Rd. and Chapin Rd. in Jonesfield Township.

Investigation shows the driver of a vehicle lost control.  The vehicle then left the roadway and flipped several times.  The driver of the vehicle, 18 year old Adam Aloise Puvalowski, was ejected from the vehicle and died.  The passenger, 18 year old George Richard Jacobs, crawled out once the vehicle came to rest.  Jacobs did not sustain any life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.  Speed is believed to be a factor.
