Copper stolen from closed fire station

Hundreds of dollars of copper piping is stolen from a closed fire station.

It happened sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning at Flint's Fire Station Four on Industrial Avenue and East Stewart Avenue near GM Powertrain North.

A firefighter who lives near the station says he saw a window broken and began investigating.

The station has been closed since April of last year.

Police are still looking for the thieves.
