(AP) -- Eastern Michigan University is providing its convocation center for the graduation ceremony for Dundee High School because of tornado damage in the Monroe County community. The high school will have free use of the Ypsilanti facility for its Thursday night graduation.
Hundreds of homes and business were damaged or destroyed by the twister that touched down Sunday. It was one of eight tornadoes that hit southern Michigan over the weekend, including another in Monroe County that forced an automatic shutdown at the Fermi 2 nuclear plant.
