Nine year old Mackenzie Miller of Frankenmuth couldn't be more excited to be named an NBC25's Great Kid. 

For the second time, Mackenzie has grown our her hair to donate to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is an organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

Mackenzie went to The Avenue Hair Studio and Spa in Saginaw to cut off ten inches of her hair to donate.

"It's going to help people that don't have hair that have cancer," Mackenzie says.

Karen Miller, Mackenzie's mother is so proud of her daughter."Not only does she do Locks of Love, she does Jump Rope for Heart and a lot of charities, feeding families thru her school. She participates as much as she can in any activity."

As NBC25's Great Kid of the Month, Mackenzie wins a one night stay and four pack of passes to enjoy Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark at Boyne Mountain.
