FLINT -- Two dozen Hurley Hospital Licensed Practical Nurses are without a job.
A hospital employee tells NBC25 24 of the 30 LPNs were laid off Friday, leaving the hospital with only 7 working staff members.

Workers had asked for a July 30th extension before the hospital made the cuts, however the layoffs went into effect Friday in order to reduce costs.
