ISABELLA CO. -- The following is a message from the Isabella County Commission on Aging:

Because of the hot weather that is anticipated over the next couple days the Isabella County Commission on Aging will keep their building open as a cooling station until 9:00PM both tonight, Tuesday, July 6th and tomorrow night, Wednesday, July 7th

The COA is concerned for the health and safety of our older population, especially during extended periods of hot weather. It is important that older adults and individuals with chronic health issues have a comfortable place to get out of the heat.

Please feel free to come to the COA Activity Building at 2200 S. Isabella Road, Mt. Pleasant. Some COA staff will be in the building for assistance during the extended period.
