Just after midnight Wednesday morning police were called to the 2000 block of Sloan in Flint for a shooting.

The victim told police upon arrival that he knew who shot him, but that he didn't want to press charges.

Soon after, the man ran off with a sawed off shotgun and went after the person he says shot him.

Police caught him at Grand Traverse and West Water Streets. He was arrested for having an illegal weapon.
