PINCONNING -- Two firefighters suffered minor injuries after battling an early morning blaze Wednesday.

It happened at the Old Red Barn on Huron Rd and M-13 in Bay County.

The building used to be an old bar, but was currently being used as a rummage sale area.

One firefighter suffered from heat exhaustion while battling the flames. Another firefighter injured his eye.  Both firefighters are recovering.

The building is a total loss. Damages are worth approximately $47,000.

M-13 had been closed for about three hours due to the fire, but has since been re-opened.
