Six new businesses in Grand Blanc's Grand Mall were celebrated Thursday morning. The Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce hosted one of the longest ribbon cutting ceremonies to welcome and honor the following businesses: Coldstone Creamery, Hobby Town, Mrs.. Fields, Game Stop, Le Grand Bistro and Chutney Bazaar.

All together now there are twenty seven businesses at the Grand Mall some of which have been there for 25 years.

Mayor of Grand Blanc, Michael Matheny counted down to the ribbon cutting. The ribbon was one thousand feet long.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, Grand Mall businesses offered refreshments to all those who passed by.
