The Office of Genesee County Sheriff is collaborating with the DEA to conduct the first ever Nation-Wide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Sheriff Robert J. Pickell has been diligent with past prescription drug take-back programs, recovering over 10,000 bottles and 257 large freezer bags full of prescription pills.  The Office of Genesee County Sheriff will continue to provide this service after the national event. 

The event will take place on Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can drop drugs off at the following locations or you can find a location closest to you at www.dea.gov.
