Flint has been ordered to charge tax-payers for the ailing Genesee Towers building.

The building has been an eye-sore for several years.

Mayor Dayne Walling tells NBC25 he's been filing motions trying to come up with a way to rid the city of the $8-million problem. However, today the supreme court says the city is responsible.

Officials say this will cost home-owners about $150 more per year.
