(AP) -- Another possible Republican presidential candidate is helping his party's candidates for Congress from Michigan. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty said Thursday his Freedom First political action committee is giving $1,000 each to GOP Reps. Dave Camp of Midland and Thad McCotter of Livonia.

It's sending the same amount to GOP candidates Dan Benishek in the 1st District, Bill Huizenga in the 2nd, Tim Walberg in the 7th, Rocky Raczkowski in the 9th and Rob Steele in the 15th District. Pawlenty also is helping GOP gubernatorial candidate Rick Snyder's campaign. He's endorsed about 160 candidates so far.

Ex-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and his Free and Strong American political action committee also have contributed to Michigan Republican candidates.
