NCAA gives graduation rates for Michigan schools

(AP) -- Michigan's men's basketball team has a graduation rate of 36 percent in the latest figures released by the NCAA. The NCAA's annual Graduation Success Rate report says 79 percent of all Division I athletes entering school between 2000-01 and 2003-04 earned a degree within six years.
Michigan's men's basketball team was at 36 percent, but the football team was at 72 percent, above the national average for major college football programs.
Michigan's field hockey, softball, women's golf and men's and women's tennis teams earned 100 percent rates. Michigan State's men's basketball team was at 50 percent and the football team was at 55 percent. The school's women's golf, women's soccer, women's tennis and women's volleyball teams were at 100 percent.
