FLINT -- The Whaley Children's center is investigating a possible abuse case. 

In a statement sent out Monday, they have been, "conducting an investigation, in full cooperation with the appropriate authorities and agencies, regarding allegations of abuse of a former resident by a former employee at the center."

Whaley Children's Center is not releasing any further details at this point at the nature of the allegations as this is an on-going and open investigation.
