(AP) -- Authorities say an 80-year-old man was killed when his pickup truck rolled over on slippery U.S. 131 in Montcalm County near Sand Lake, while a 75-year-old woman died in a Livingston County crash

The Grand Rapids Press says Sunday's accident in Montcalm County caused other vehicles behind him to crash. Sand Lake Fire Chief Ed Holtzlander says the highway was "solid ice and says "it was hard to even walk on the road."

WOOD-TV says the victim was an 80-year-old from the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming.

WHMI-FM says 75-year-old Frieda Merry was killed when her minivan collided with an oncoming vehicle Sunday in Livingston County's Howell Township.
