LANSING (AP) -- Gov.-elect Rick Snyder and outgoing Gov. Jennifer Granholm are expected to appear together to discuss economic development efforts in Michigan.
Snyder and Granholm are scheduled to make announcements Monday afternoon.
It's expected they will announce some board positions for the Michigan Economic Development Corp., which helps keep and attract businesses for the state.
Economic development is a crucial issue for Michigan, which had the nation's second-highest unemployment rate at 12.8 percent in October.
Snyder takes over as governor on Jan. 1.
