HIGGINS LAKE -- A former Woodland Family Dental employee has been arraigned on embezzlement and drug charges.

An employee at the Woodland Family Dental in Higgins Lake reports to NBC25 that Terese Valko took between $50,000 and $75,000 and also obtained controlled substances by fraud from the company.

Valko was an employee there for eight years.  The company has patients as far south as Standish.

Roscommon District Court tells NBC25 that Valko faces a preliminary hearing in January.
