WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP -- A West Michigan man is dead after being crushed between an excavator and semi-trailer in Bay County’s Williams Township on Saturday.

Michigan State Police tell NBC25 65-year-old Edward John Bylow of Battle Creek was struck has he passed by a counter weight.  He was part of a crew cleaning up an old tire dump site.  Bylow was transported to Bay Regional Medical Center where he later died.
