The Salvation Army bell-ringers have ended their Christmas campaign, and it was a successful one in Saginaw County.

It looked pretty bleak last week. It was down more than $12,000 from its bell-ringing goal of $270,000 this year.

The organization tells NBC25 it raised a record number of money Thursday, more than $13,000, thanks to those ringing the bells and the generosity of the community.
