The family of Toni Frenzel, who went missing New Year's Day and was found Tuesday morning by the Saginaw River, released a statement to the media today, thanking the community for its efforts throughout the ordeal. Amanda Burke, Frenzel's daughter, had this to say:

On behalf of those who loved her, our heartfelt thanks for all your prayers, thought and efforts.

So many within the community joined us in a most emotional close to a chapter in our lives that I can only believe will bring God's love and blessings.

This, i know, will be returned to all who have or will hold her in our hearts.

However difficult the result, we can now rest our minds and hearts knowing that as a family, we now begin a new chapter on which we can begin to heal.

With so many things to give, I will be brief. Thanks be to God.
