The trial has begun for a woman who's accused of leaving her fiancée on the side of the road to die after he jumped out of their moving car.

On February 21, 2010, Jessica Chubb was driving in Huron County’s Meade Township, when she and her boyfriend, Robert Arntz, 42, began arguing.  Deputies say Arntz became so angry that he opened the car door, and jumped out of the moving vehicle, landing on the side of the road.

Chubb allegedly left him there, and continued to drive off from the scene.

A passerby saw Arntz on the roadside, and called 911.  Arntz later died from the injuries.

Now, Chubb is being charged with "failure to report an accident that resulted in death". The jury trial began Tuesday morning, and is expected to continue at least through Wednesday.
