MIDLAND -- A Michigan organization is giving away free Prom Dresses to high school girls.
For the third year in a row, The North Midland Family Center and Share the Memories organization are making girl’s dreams come true. It’s called the “Share the Memories free prom dress program.”
High school teens can come and pick out of hundreds of free dresses to wear to their school’s formal event.
"Last year we had over 250 girls who 'shopped' our event," said Becca Tointon, Share the Memories Midland founder, in a press release. "We outfitted girls from 42 different schools. It's amazing to think that one program can have that kind of significant reach and impact."
The “shopping” will take place at the North Midland Family Center March 17-19th.
All girls must register to be able to attend. Appointments can be made until March 16th by visiting www.sharethememoriesmi.org. After March 16th, girls can call 989-689-7770 to apply.
