BAY CITY -- Easter is about a month away, and St. Laurent Brothers in Bay City is already making sweet treats to celebrate.

The 107 year old business has remained a trendy part of Bay City’s modern downtown.  It has occupied the riverside location since before the civil war, where it was originally a hotel, then home for lumberjacks.

The building was then transformed into a nut company, and has developed into a chocolate factory.  All the nuts are roasted at the building, and the chocolaty treats are made in the kitchen.

The chocolatiers use molds to create fun shapes like dinosoars and tractors. Just in time for Easter, you can get a three and a half foot tall chocolate bunny!

In the heart of downtown, the owners say this is a great place to stop and get tasty candies for everyone in the family.
