Winners will take home tickets to Kid Rock's private show in Flint Saturday.

Update: April 15th, 4:30 p.m.

Banana 101.5 has announced that Joplin, Mallorie May, and Jasey Newcombe are the "My Kid Rocks" winners.

“A little mini Kid Rock is what she looks like!” said Hailey Walsh as she looked at her five year old daughter Nadiyah.

Walsh says she never saw the resemblance before she dressed her little girl up for the Banana 101.5 My Kid Rocks! Contest

The Flint radio station called on parents to put together Kid Rock inspired music videos featuring their children.  The station then posted those videos on its website and let the public vote.  The three videos that got the most votes earned parents tickets to see Kid Rock perform at the Machine Shop in Flint and a $100 gift card to Toys ‘r’ Us.

The tickets are much coveted, as the performance at the Machine Shop on Dort Highway this Saturday will be a private show.  The Jim Beam Live Music Series is sponsoring the show and will be recording it for the Jim Beam Bourbon website. Most in attendance are invited by Jim Beam or Kid Rock.  Only a few tickets are being given away.

“She’s really excited,” says mom, Melissa Burt of her daughter. “This has brought her out of her shell and been a cool experience.”

Her 7-year-old daughter Mal was in first place in votes as of Thursday.  She and her dad Ty Burt put together a video to Kid Rock’s “Born Free”.

“Where he rides his motorcycle, she rides her bike,” said Burt.

The radio station is expected to announce winners Friday afternoon.
