A multi-million dollar announcement by the Diocese of Saginaw Friday afternoon started with a bang.
Actually, it started with a sledge-hammer hit by Bishop Joseph Cistone.
The $5.7 million renovation will benefit Nouvel Catholic Central in Saginaw and All Saints Central in Bay City.
The money came from private donors.
"The infrastructure upgrades at Nouvel will take academic excellence to a whole new level with the installation of state of the art learning spaces, laboratories, and renovations of existing classrooms and the removal of the school's temporary annex building," says Cistone.
The renovations at Nouvel have already started.
Both projects are expected to be completed by the beginning of the next school year in the fall.
