The Voice rules Tuesday nights

NBC's Primetime television is hot for recent number one ratings.

 

THE EVENT 

The newest NBC25 drama, The Event, has viewers glued to the screen at 9:00 pm Monday nights.  The thriller follows Sean Walker (Jason Ritter) as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, and begins to discover the biggest cover up in U.S. History.

THE VOICE 

Viewers have been tuning into The Voice for an entertaining Tuesday night.

The show beat Tuesday night's usual leader, Glee, which has held the 8 p.m. time slot steadily.

The show is hosted by Carson Daly and features Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as the musician coaches. Contestants are narrowed down under three stages. The competition starts with an initial blind audition, then the battle phase, and lastly, a live performance.

Each coach will have their best contestant left standing in the finale. From these four contestants, one will be named The Voice and receive the grand prize of a recording contract and $100,000.

30 ROCK  

If you need a laugh, 30 Rock is the answer on Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. The comedy, starring Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, and Tracy Morgan, is hailed by Entertainment Weekly as, “simply the best TV.”

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS 

Finishing out the week strong, Friday Night Lights take center stage at 8:00 pm.  Based on the best-selling book, and feature film, this show centers on the life in Dillon, Texas where high school football brings the community together.
