CADILLAC, SAGINAW -- Michigan State Police in the Cadillac-area are investigating a 25-year-old man who they say convinced a 13-year-old girl from that area to meet with him down in Saginaw.  We’re told the man, a registered sex offender, started following several Wexford County Middle School females on Facebook and eventually earned the trust of the 13-year-old. 

She then boarded a bus and traveled down to the Saginaw-area where she met the suspect.  Using coordinated investigative techniques and technology, State Troopers located the 13-year-old in a suspected Saginaw drug house.  She was removed and returned to her mother back in the Cadillac-area. 

The suspect was not at the scene but he is still wanted.  Investigators did not release his name as of Friday.  However, they do ask parents to keep an eye on what children are doing on the Internet.
