FLINT -- Renee Williams, the woman who police believe may have something to do with the murder of Frederick Robinson, faces criminal charges related to stealing a vehicle.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton  states the 32-year-old woman will be arraigned Friday for one count of unauthorized driving away a motor vehicle (a felony up to 5 years in prison), a count of receiving and concealing a stolen motor vehicle (a felony with up to 5 years imprisonment and./or $10,000), and another count of unauthorized possession of financial transaction device (which carries a maximum penalty of 4 years and/or $5,000).

While the Prosecutor isn’t releasing how or if Williams’ charges tie in with the murder, he states the case is continuing to be investigated.

Williams was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, but NBC25 is told the arraignment will most likely occur Friday.

Robinson was found dead in his home on June 17th.
