FLINT -- Dozens of pink-slipped teachers will return to the classrooms in the fall.

At the last school board meeting, The Flint School District decided to call back 84 teachers. Each of those employees received notices in the mail with information on which school they'll be placed in for the upcoming school year.

Hundreds of other school staff members, including teachers, still remain unemployed as the district faces a $25 million budget shortfall.

Flint School District spokesperson Bob Campbell tells NBC25 that he's not sure if they'll be able to bring any more staff members back, as school officials continue to review the budget.
