Chemical leak at Dow Corning

MIDLAND -- Update: July 13th, 1:45 p.m.
A Dow Corning spokesman tells NBC25 a small vapor release happened just after 10:30 a.m. No hydrogen chloride was detected off site. An invetigation is underway on what caused incident.
Update: July 13th, 11:41 a.m.
Midland Dispatch reports that the chemical incident has been downgraded, and all roads are now reopened.
NBC25 has learned via dispatch that there is a possible HCL chemical leak at Dow Corning's 502 building. Saginaw Road is closed between Bay City Road and Gordonville Road. Salzburg Road between Saginaw and Waldo Roads is also closed.
