TUSCOLA CO. -- A charred frame is all that remains of a Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department patrol car, after a deputy stopped to help put out a fire at a local farm.

The sheriff reports Deputy Don Pisha jumped in to help, when he saw a farmer’s combine blazing on the 8000 block of Millington Road in Arbela Township around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Moments after Deputy Don Pisha got out of his patrol car to help, the flames spread to the field.  Those blazes traveled along the crops, and to the patrol car.

The Millington Fire Department soon arrived, and put out the crop fire.

Fortunately no one was hurt.  However, as can be seen in the photo, the patrol car is a complete loss, and all the technology in the car was demolished.
