Shooting victim goes into liquor store for help, but doesn't survive

SAGINAW -- One Saginaw man is dead, and police are trying to figure out why.

Saginaw Police responded to Glenwood around 8:00 p.m. Sunday, for reports that shots had been fired near a liquor store.  

When they arrived at All Star Liquor, they found a man, who had been shot.  Reports said the man was shot outside, and came into the store for help.

The 22-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital, but didn’t survive.

Police are calling this the city’s ninth homicide of the year, and are continuing to interview witnesses.
