AT&T outages could prevent 911 phone calls

AT&T customers around Michigan may be experiencing intermittent cell phone voice and data service due to a power outage.
Bay City Central Dispatch says this outage could prevent people from calling 911 or other emergency phone numbers. In the meantime, they’re advising people to call the Dispatch phone number at 989-892-9551 if there is an emergency.
