Michigan picks Mitt Romney in straw poll

Michigan is for Mitt. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is the winner of Sunday's Michigan straw poll.
The Michigan native beat his GOP opponents by a wide margin, taking just over 50% of the votes.
Second place finisher, Rick Perry got just 16.8%. According to the Associated Press, Herman Cain and Congressman Ron Paul each got about 8 percent. Michele Bachmann, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum each got less than 4 percent.
Romney remains the favorite to win the state's primary next year.
