Eighteen-year-old Lensley Martin Jr. has been charged with murder and child abuse, in connection to the September 29th death of his six-month-old son Lensley Martin III.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton declined to comment on specifics of the case, when reached for comment Thursday afternoon.

According to Mt. Morris Township Police, they received a call for a baby noth breathing. Martin III was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Martin Jr. is being held without bond, in the Genesee County Jail.
