ISABELLA CO. -- A 34-year-old Michigan man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife.
Jason Lantz Fish was arrested Monday Morning by the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
Fish was arraigned Monday afternoon, and now faces four felony counts.
Fish is charged with murder, firearm possession by a felon, and two counts of felony firearms possession.
This weekend, Jason, his wife Stephanie, and their 4-year-old son Brody went missing. Jason and Brody were found safe Sunday, but Stephanie remained missing.
Authorities recently found Stephanie’s body in the family’s home.
Michigan State Police are working with the sheriff’s department to investigate. So far, a .22 caliber rifle has been seized as possible evidence.
The 4-year-old child is currently staying with a family member while the investigation continues.
An autopsy for Stephanie Fish is scheduled for sometime Monday or Tuesday.
