The coast guard says searchers have found the wreckage of a single engine chartered plane that crashed in northern Michigan killing two men.

The plane left St. Ignace Saturday night for Mackinac Island.

Searchers found the wreckage three miles north of St. Ignace Sunday afternoon.

Police say the victims are 52-year-old Thomas Phillips of Kirkland, WA, and 29-year-old Joseph Pann Jr. of St. Ignace.

The FAA says Great Lakes Air Inc. owned the plane.
