30,000 could lose their jobs due to US Postal Service cuts

Hundreds of post offices are on the chopping clock as the cash-strapped US Postal Service plans to make big cuts.
The cuts would save more than $2 billion a year. Monday, the USPS made the announcement that due to the deficit, they're forced to make the cuts. You can watch their statement below:
First class mail would be slowed down, and the number of processing centers would be slashed from 461 to about 200, according to NBC News.
Nearly 30,000 employees would be laid off due to the budget cuts.
