Four people arrested at Flint Bishop International Airport
Saginaw Police and the Genesee County Sheriff's Department joined forces to make a huge pot bust at Flint Bishop International Airport.
More than $120,000 worth of marijuana was seized Monday, while the drugs were en route from Phoenix, Arizona to Saginaw.
The drugs were found inside of four large luggage bags.
"I really can't go into the details of what we knew when but apparently this did get through the luggage scanner in Phoenix," said Saginaw Police Chief Gerald Cliff, who added that the Transportation Security Administration did not detect the drugs in Arizona.
Four Saginaw residents are now in jail, waiting to be arraigned.
Those arraignments could come as early as Wednesday.
Chief Cliff says the Saginaw Police Department has seized more than 800 pounds of marijuana in the last 13 months.
