MT. MORRIS TWP. --      Mount Morris police are at the scene of a home invasion in progress at 3200 Sherman Avenue, off Clio Road.

     Authorities say the suspect tried to break into a home, and shots were fired.  No one was hurt, but there’s no word yet whether the suspect is in custody.
