The Mount Morris area could soon re-establish a Chamber of Commerce.

The community has operated for several years without one.

Last September, business owners, civic leaders, school officials and community members got together to talk about improving the area.

One of the ideas was to create a new chamber.

"There's been an exorbinant amount of interest coming out of a lot of local business owners and surrounding communities to start one," said Adam Martin, president of Martin Funeral Homes.

"There's a viable opportunity here and come in and take a look at what we have."

There will be a planning meeting at Martin Funeral Home on March 22. All are welcome.
