NBC25 found people in Bay City were excited to get their teeth cleaned Friday afternoon.
Dental Hygiene Health Service, a locally-based non-profit, stopped by the Salvation Army to offer cleanings to those who would normally not be able to afford the service.
Dental hygienist Karen Pavlawk says, "We're trying to reach people that haven't had their teeth checked in numerous years, which we are, 10 to 15 to 20 years. We're trying to help those people."
The organization also has clinics at the Wirt library.
