FLINT -- One person has been killed after a shooting on Sunday evening on Providence Street in the south side of Flint.

Police responded to the scene and said the victim, a black male, was shot at around 9:30 p.m.

The shooting occurred at a home on Providence off Lippincott Road.

Authorities are still investigating the scene and searched the basement of the house for clues.
