SAGINAW BAY -- Two men had to be rescued after their boat began taking on water Friday morning just after 7:30.

The U.S. Coast Guard quickly responded to the scene to find the two men in the water wearing life jackets.

Crews are still working to recover the boat. There were no reported injuries.

The Coast Guard was unavailable for comment.

with memorial day weekend set to begin, all boaters are asked to be weary of safety on the waterways.
