Manhunt continues for escaped Flint murder suspect

16-year-old Mark Jones escaped from detention center Friday afternoon
FLINT -- Flint Police and Michigan State Police continue to search for 16-year-old Mark Jones, a suspect in the 2010 murder of 73-year-old Merlyne Wray in Flint.
The 16-year-old Jones was last seen leaving the New Passages Psychological Center in shackles Friday afternoon and may have stolen a van from the area surrounding the Flint Township facility.
Police say the van could be a black Chevy Express with expires plates. The license plate number is 7KQN54
Reports indicate that guards did not accompany Jones during a trip to the bathroom.
He was being housed as the Genesee Valley Regional Detention Center.
In 2010, Jones allegedly killed Wray when he was 14 years old, and became one of the youngest people in Michigan to be charged with murder.
