The Associated Press has reported that Rodney King,47 is dead. Police said they found him at the bottom of his swimming pool Sunday morning. Authorities said they believe he drowned.

King is known for the deadly LA riots. In 1991, King was videotaped when four LA police officers brutally beat him. Violent attacks took over the streets of LA after the beating and when the four officers were acquitted.
