BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP -- A woman survived with minor injuries after her car went up in flames on I-75 over the weekend.
The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon at around 2:30 near the Reece-Caro exit.
Traffic began to slow down when a woman, trying to avoid an accident, swerved and actually caused an accident herself.
After the collision her car caught on fire. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile southbound traffic on I-75 was backed up past the Zilwaukee Bridge for about an hour.
All wreckege has been cleared and traffic on the highway is running smoothly.
