Saginaw Police investigate three homicides within last 24 hours

SAGINAW -- Police are investigating three deadly shootings within the last 24 hours.

The latest happened on the 1900 block of Cherry Street around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

Authorities say they found 20-year-old Russell Turner on the porch suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Detectives say they are still investigating, and they have no suspects at this time.

Also in Saginaw, police have released the names of two area men shot to death early Saturday morning on North Second Street.

10-year-old Frederick Rico-Jones and 20-year-old Marcus Buckley were found dead inside a car backed into a driveway.

Police say they had been shot several times.

No arrests have been made in either incident.
