Hundreds of people gathered to watch the USS Edson arrive this morning in Bay County.

The 418-foot naval vessel docked along the riverside as NBC25 documented her arrival by interviewing former crew members and ship fans that came out to watch.

The Edson has been at sea for almost three weeks being tugged by a boat named "The Colonel".
