Inside a UPS dropbox at a Saginaw County gas station: a little boy was trapped.

Buena Vista Township firefighter Robert Schultz tells NBC 25, rescuers used a pry bar to free the boy who got trapped inside the box at the Flying J gas station on East Washington near I-75, on Thursday night.

When police arrived, an officer opened the drop box and "all she could see was a pair of the boy's eyes", according to Schultz. Someone apparently left the door of the box open and the child got inside and closed the door. The child got out and is OK.

MLive.com reports the drop box for packages has now been removed .
